• Women's Ministry, Chris Noble
  Providing the women of Southside with opportunities to mature in Christ by acts of service, growth in the knowledge of God, hospitality, prayer, sharing Christ with others, missions,and mentoring (Colossians 1:9-14) is the mission the women's ministry team.
  Ministries within the Women's Ministry:

  • The Service team is lead by Chris Noble and Vicki Erkkila. This team does: Card Ministry, Baskets of Encouragement (Diana Danielson), Food Drives, Personal Care Packages, Clothing Drives/Exchange and Christmas Baskets.
  • The Bible Study team leaders are Sabrina Bell and Chris Noble. Areas include: Annual Sunday Women's Class and Weekly Home Bible Studies.
  • The Outreach Events team is led by Jackie Bickmore and Geri Christiansen. The annual Mothers' Day Dinner and Christmas Ornament Exchange are highlights of their events.
  • The Hospitality/Fellowship team is led by Jackie Bickmore and Linda Cottam.
  • The Prayer & Spiritual Growth team
  • The Communications/History team is led by Sabrina Bell, Sharon Talbot, and Kelli Rutledge.
  • The Women in Missions team gives support and encouragement for Ruth Tesic (Croatia) and Laura Shero (Uganda). Chris Noble leads this effort.

• Involvement Ministry, Ron Artenian
  Involvement team members are George Baldwin, Sherrie Bertrand, Ramona Mix, and Steve Smith. This vital ministry encourages Southside members and prospective members to be active participants in the Southside body of Christ. Key areas of involvement are making connections between members & guests and creating relationships that serve the body and the community. Follow-up and bringing back the "Missing in Action" are key areas of interest for this team.

• Body Life Needs Ministry
  Serving the needs of the Southside body of Christ in real and tangible ways to bring comfort to the body (I Peter 4:10). Body Needs service areas: Flowers for sympathy, funerals, the sick, and shut-ins, meals for members with special needs (surgery, new baby, etc), showers for new babies, adoptions, marriages, meal coordination after funerals when services are held at the Southside building or by Randy, and new member welcome baskets.
